Curriculum


The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) requires 132 credits for graduation. The 132 credits are divided into four areas: 30 credits in general education, 18 credits in COB core courses, 47 credits in department core courses, and 37 credits in electives. The 30 general education credits are separated into basic courses and classified. A student needs 22 credits in basic courses and 12 credits in classified courses. The classified courses include Classical Literature, Art & Aesthetics, and Philosophy in the field of liberal arts and Technology and Society, Life Science, and Logic in the field of natural science.

Students must complete one of the following three tracks:

(1) Marketing and Enterprise,

(2) Organization and Human Resource Management,

(3) Operations and Information Management.


At least 18 credits of elective courses need to be taken to complete each track. It is possible, and relatively common, to complete a double-track. Three elective courses are offered to enlarge students’ global view: International Marketing, International Business Management, and Expatriate Management practice.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a master’s level general management degree. The MBA program requires 41 credits for graduation, which includes 11 obligatory course credits and 30 elective course credits. 6 thesis credits are also required in addition to the aforementioned course credits. Students are required to take 16 hours/3-credit English Language Courses during the summer vacation and semester. Students who want to study aboard in Overseas-study group must have at least 6 credits in GMBA program. Two elective courses are offered to enlarge students’ global view: International Marketing and International Business Management.
